Till then - I would advise you to read the account of the Buddha's life as collected from the Pali texts - which is located at http://www.accesstoinsight.org/ptf/buddha.htmlWhen studying the life of the Buddha, what we have to keep in mind is that this is not so much an historical record of the life of the Buddha, as an account of what early Buddhism believed about the life of the Buddha.
